checklist script
I want to make a script which will allow me to check on HP-ux system the critical,warning and error message,the disks, memories, CPU and and the. In fact a checklist.

If you have the online diagnostics and EMS installed, several monitors will run and monitor your hardware.
By default you will get warnings and other messages via syslog and mail to root, but you can even configure other ways of notification.
Just watch the syslog file and root's mailbox.

As an alternative you can install system fault management.

Doing this, you can check the status and receive notifications via system management homepage and/or HP SIM.

you can use third party monitoring tools for this kind of monitoring. Among them Adventnet Applications Manager is good one. Just download the demo version and check out how can you monitor your systems.
