Cifs/900

I want to make cifs/9000 pdc server. and i have adv windows 2000 server. i want trust relationship between both. so windows 2000 user can access unix file and vice versa.
and i do not want any user in hp box except only one.

This will work. I might ask the question, why do you want the HP box to be a PDC server and have no users. Authenticating users is a primary function of a PDC.

Then again, I might not ask that question. Let me know if the document can help.

If you only want a single user on the CIFS/server - then I don't think you can be a PDC - you need to use a username.map file and map all Windows users to the Unix ID.

look at the usermap option in smb.conf, or dig into the world of local and global group cross memberships.

but definitely:
- no pdc
- no trusts

completely wrong routem, don't even try it.

What i want trustrelation between samba domain and windows domain.
then windows client join samba domain
