Maybe a newbie question.
I downloaded and installed CIFS/9000 server, everything went fine.
Then i created a testgroup [testgrp] and 2 testusers using SAM (gave dir /export/testgrp)
did the chgrp and the chmod thing
fixed the whole smb.conf including [testgrp] & [homes]
smbd & nmbd seem to be running
now:
when i do "smbclient -L VIRO3 -N" (viro3 = netbios name)
it sez: "tree connect failed: code 0"
when i type "smbclient //VIRO3/testgrp -U juju" everything works fine!
WHY do i get a tree connect failed? and how do i solve it?
