cifs-client and windows2000

Hi Group
I have following configuration:
- HPUX11.0 client with cifsclient 1.09.01
- Windows2000 File Server
The problem is that I can't lock files on the server.
I tested this with a application (CATIA V4) and a test program, I found here in the forum.(attachment)
Is there anybody out there working with the same configuration who is able to lock files?
