cifs-samba

Hello,

I am trying to mount a windows folder in my hp-ux to make a backup . I am using:

madcc01:/opt/samba/bin> cifsmount //erlm7f1a.ww110.siemens.net/ERLMdfs$ /project -D ww110 -U perecast -P xxxxx -r

And in fact the folder is mounted . However when I try to access to any file , everything is empty . I think this is caused due to permissions problems . It seems shared folders have restrictions to some users and users must be fully authenticated under windows. How can I supply the windows domain ?????

Do you have any idea or any other alternate sollution ??

Thanks

Potential options:

(1) run SAMBA SERVER on your HP server and mount from your PC to HPux

(2) install linux on your PC :-))))
