CIFS Windows share HPUX
Hi,
I've got a HP-UX server running HPUX11.0 with the CIFS client A.01.09
A Windows 2000 share is mounted on the HP-UX server using the CIFS client, but the mapping gets inaccessible from time to time with the following error:
Jul 16 08:54:06 HPUX_server vmunix: NFS lookup failed for server Windowd_server: RPC: Remote system error.
A bdf still shows the mapping however and after a logout and logon, the user can access the share again.
Any ideas what is causing this problem?
best regards,
Kurt

Re: CIFS Windows share HPUX
Seeing it just dies for no apparent reason, I would first be looking at patching specifically for NFS.
Anyone for a Mutiny ?

What is he trying to say with the 'signal 10' that seems to cause the problems?
