cifslogin not working

My cifslogin is not working when i tried it is giving me :
[root]/#cifslogin 172.30.1.99 cdc
Remote user cdc's password:
Logging in User: Server not connected!

Hi,
Check the network connectivity by ping and nslookup. Also check the CIFS service is running on CIFS Windows server.
