circular links

Why are circular links in /usr/lib. They are trouble for ignite during the pax process, they cause the file expander to abort.

Hi Peter,

If you have circular links in /usr/lib, I'd lay good $ HP ( read patches) didn't put 'em there. There are *many* of us that wouldn't let them get away w/that......

If circular links are dead links then find them and report them to HP.

find /usr -type l -print | perl -nle '-e || print'

If something else then verify the system.

check_patches

swverify -v -x check_permission=true \*

vi the logs for either and note the total errors.
