a small question, as I indicate to fbackup that they are backups continuous?

If you mean that 'fbackup' will ask for a second tape once the first fill up, then the answer is yes.

If you want backups to run daily, etc you can set them up either through cron or 'sam'. But if you require a second tape someone must either load it, or you have the capability through a script using an autochanger/tape library.
