I need to replace this disk and found ...
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0xef86e7e60861d511abcd0090277a778c,00.html
I have a vgcfg backup but I've since upgraded the os and mc/sg to 11 since this backup was taken. Will it still work?

SolutionAfter replacing the disk and creating your VG/LV and FS don't foreget to a cmapplyconf again so that SG recognises the replaced disk as lock disk even if the device files doesn't change .

Re: Cluster lock disk failure
The time stamp on this log file will tell you when cmapplyconf was used last .
