Cluster Package switching via SAM

Hello,
we've installed two new rx2600 servers with HP/UX 11.23. If I start SAM I cant find Cluster Menu to start/stop and switch packages.
On our HP/UX 11.0 machines this works fine.
What's the reason?

Not too sure - I don't have 11.23 to tell you.

Can you see them from command line:

cmviewcl

You can use cmhaltpkg and cmrunpkg to stop/start.


"Clusters" should be from the Main menu in SAM...

Hello Geoff,
now it is available in SAM. Dont know why it's available right now. Yesterday in the morning the "cluster" menu doesn't appear in SAM.

SAM-support for Serviceguard is being phased out in leue of Serviceguard Manager - a free (software.hp.com) utility which permits the administrator to create (in SGMgr 4.0), manipulate and monitor clusters and packages.

One of the other nice things about SGMgr is that is can be run from a PC, remote from the LAN of the Serviceguard cluster (IE: WAN-enabled).
