cluster subnet error

hi all,

I installed Mc/SG to my nodes, node0 and node1.

I'm taking some alarms so such below.
"Error: IP netmasks don't match, interface lan0 on node0
Error: IP netmasks don't match, interface lan0 on node1"

output of "netstat -in";

Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts Ierrs Opkts Oerrs Coll
lan0 1500 10.4.9.0 10.4.9.81 9063040 0 9790965 0 0
lan0:1 1500 10.0.0.0 10.4.9.80 81679241 0 109282756 0 0

1- why do I take this error?
2- Why do I see "The virtual ip"'s subnet like 10.0.0.0 although the primary lan's ip adress is 10.4.9.0 ?
3- Also when I run cmscancl; I see a diffrent subnet address (10.0.0.0). What is the reason?

output of cmscancl;

subnet: 10.0.0.0
subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
ip address: 10.4.9.81

Re: cluster subnet error

do the subnets match in the two nodes?
what did you set for the SUBNET in your package config and control files?

Re: cluster subnet error

For lan0 yes but not the same with lan0:1.

lan0:1 1500 10.4.9.0 10.4.9.83 134752 0 0 0 0
lan0 1500 10.4.9.0 10.4.9.82 1896476 0 1415258 0 0

I checked the cntl and conf files. All of them are rigth.

Re: cluster subnet error

Why do I see the subnet address as 10.0.0.0 from cmscancl although I see 10.4.9.0 from "netstat -in" ?

Node ID 1:
Node name: node0

Network ID 1:
ppa: 0
network interface name: lan0

IPv4 Information:
subnet: 10.0.0.0
subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
ip address: 10.4.9.81

Node ID 2:
Node name: node1

Network ID 1:
ppa: 0
network interface name: lan0

IPv4 Information:
subnet: 10.0.0.0
subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
ip address: 10.4.9.82

Node Id 1:

node0:/#netstat -in
Name Mtu Network Address
lan0 1500 10.4.9.0 10.4.9.81
lan0:1 1500 10.0.0.0 10.4.9.80

Node Id 2:

node1:/#netstat -in
Name Mtu Network Address
lan0:1 1500 10.4.9.0 10.4.9.83
lan0 1500 10.4.9.0 10.4.9.82

Re: cluster subnet error

Actually, your latest netstat -in shows it as 10.0.0.0.

Re: cluster subnet error

But I checked all of the configuration and it is as 255.255.255.0 (10.4.9.0) every where. Why do I see it as 10.0.0.0 for lan0:1 at node0?
