Cluster with multiple package

Hi masters,

I have requirement to create cluster with 2 package on two node.

Here I am able to run only one package at a time.
If I start second package on second node it fails to start as it not able enable vglock VG.

Is there any special configuration for multi package cluster.

Cluster lock disk is 4GB lun.
vglock VG created using this 4GB lun.

Re: Cluster with multiple package

are you activating the cluster lock vg with the first package?
If so, then are you trying to again enable the cluster lock vg from that package?
attach you cluster ascii file, and both package configuration files to a response, DO NOT CUT and PASTE them into your response.

Re: Cluster with multiple package

ServiceGuard clusters can have many packages and the volume group that contains the lock disk can be used by a package (why waste a disk) effectively. Evidently in part of your setup you forgot a step. PLease go through your documentation or training on ServiceGuard to properly create the volume group with the lock disk and properly activate it and set it up for use by a package.
