cmcld: Either there is no configuration data or cmclconf
Hi,
Need help in cmcld.
While the L2000 HP-UX 11.0 server is rebooted without shutdown the cluster, it failed to start the cmcld. Please refer to the syslog.
Please advise.

d[1629], exited with a status of 1.
Need help in cmcld.

What is the patch level & service guard version ?

what is the node state in the output of cmd #cmviewcl
what is output showing upon runing cmd
# cmviewconf

Keep in mind that when you boot a ServiceGuard node, it can only JOIN a cluster or a form a cluster if the other node(s) in the cluster are booting at a similar time.
The startup runs "cmrunnode" as oppossed to "cmruncl".
If what you did above was done without the cluster up and running then it is normal behaviour.
If the cluster was up and running, then you are probably looking at an issue with nslookup not finding the names correctly or something of that nature.
