Does anyone know what this process does? I saw it running on an HPUX 11.11 platform.

the name of the process resembles the command view agent. CommandView is the application that is used to monitor and manipulate the HP's XP-???? disk arrays. We run ours on a windows machine so I do not have this particular process on my machines. So mine is a totally educated guess..

/usr/sbin/cmdvwagt belongs to SDM Commandview. It is the commandview SNMP
subAgent.
