Cmgetconf vg00 error

Hello,
When I run a cmgetconf on one of our servers,
I get an error regarding vg00 having different id's. I have confirmed the nodes, and two of them have the same VGID.
I am going to follow the solution in <> to resolve the VGID issue.

The question I have got is -
Prior to doing the work, is it best to take a fresh back of all vg00 filesystems, and will I need to do any restores after the change (for example cluster directory).

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Yash

Re: Cmgetconf vg00 error

Thanks for the prompt reply Steven.

From your reply, does it mean that once I have changed the VGID of vg00, I will have to do a full vg00 ignite restore, or is to just restore individual files as required.

Thanks,
Yash

Re: Cmgetconf vg00 error

No SEP is saying take an Ignite backup in case you break something. You shouldn't need it if everything goes well following the instructions in the oether post.
