cmlvmd: Could not read messages from /usr/lbin/cmcld
In my syslog.log I got the next message:
cmlvmd: Could not read messages from /usr/lbin/cmcld: Software caused connection abort
cmlvmd: CLVMD exiting
cmtaped[18385]: The cluster daemon aborted our connection.
cmtaped[18385]: cmtaped terminating. (ATS 1.14)
cmclconfd[557]: The cluster daemon aborted our connection.
The machine is in a two node cluster and we did application network test when I got this messeage. Also, there are only one data LAN so,
local switch was not occur.(this one data Lan environment is temporary.)
I'd like to know why network is so busy.
We did network test, but not heavy trafic.
also, I did ftp and result was 700Kbytes/sec.
I used 10M hub, so, its reasonable.
OS version is 11i
SG version is 11.13
I attached SG patches I installed (patches.txt)
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks.

Re: cmlvmd: Could not read messages from /usr/lbin/cmcld
I checked the patch.the patch was replaced by
PHSS_26750.
I think this patch is for SG version A.11.09
I used SG version 11.13. can I use this patch
to my environment?
Thanks in advance

Re: cmlvmd: Could not read messages from /usr/lbin/cmcld
The only patches that are common between the ServiceGuard releases are the OS patches.

Re: cmlvmd: Could not read messages from /usr/lbin/cmcld
SG 11.13 has been patched for these issues:
PHSS_26674: ABORT CORRUPTION OTHER
ServiceGuard daemon (cmcld) may abort with core dump
when a package is started or halted.
A ServiceGuard OPS node may TOC after a false
unclean shutdown.
ServiceGuard daemon (cmcld) may abort with core dump
due to DLPI errors.
ServiceGuard daemon (cmcld) may abort with core dump
during cluster formation.
A package may be started on two nodes, causing data
corruption.
The latest version of the SG 11.13 patch is PHSS_26928. If not loaded, take some time to see if this prevents the trouble in the future.
