cmquerycl with the following error
Hi all,
I have problem when trying to configure cluster with follows:
1) 2 nodes
2) lan0 - primary lan
lan1 - standby lan
no heartbeat lan
3) upgrade SG 11.14 to SG 11.16
4) Fresh Install HP-UX 11.11 (previous - 11.00)
The problem now is when i run cmquerycl, the following error came out,
"Error: lan1 is a slave device which you are not allowed to reference directly from a Serviceguard configuration."
So, for not taking too long time, i decided to remark the "lan1" setting at cmclconfig.ascii file which skip the lan1 definition as a standby lan and after that can thru...
Hope somebody can come out with solution for this problem..thanks in advance..

Re: cmquerycl with the following error
HI
What kind of cluster did u form in your environment without heartbeat?
The error you mentioned, must be indicate that you did a mistake in your cluster.ascii configuration file.
you can post your present configuration file here for better understanding.
