command view sdm questions

Hi, I've the same errors in the thread 871735 (http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=871735 but I've changed the IP address...
Reinstall doesn't work...
Anyone can tell me what's happening?
Thank's.

Re: command view sdm questions

I could not open that link. Post the error message. When you changed the ip address, did you follow the correct procedure??

It is always good to do /etc/set_parms ip_address
Check that.

Re: command view sdm questions

There's a closing ')' in the link above which causes the link to fail.

Does the hostname command return the actual hostname?

Does this match the output of uname -a?

Run nslookup
nslookup
-->Do both of these match?

Re: command view sdm questions

Hi, I've removed the /opt/sanmgr and the /etc/opt/sanmgr, reinstall the SDM and add my IP on the /etc/opt/sanmgr/hostagent/config/access.dat.
That's solve the problem.
Thank's for help.
