CommandView SDM Service Guard and DS2300
We have 2 RP2470s Running 11i March 2004 and connected to a DS2300, running Service Guard and 4 instaces of Oracle (64bit). 1.5gb memory per node.
The servers were running with only 15mb of free memory and CPU at 80% busy. After running yamm I stopped the SDM software, which gave me back nearly 200mb of free memory. I then removed the SDM and fired up Service Guard Again and it now runs with 500mb free memory and 20% busy.
I see other people have mentioned memory leaks with with software but didnt see any mention of any patches
DO I need this software????
TIA
Sue

Re: CommandView SDM Service Guard and DS2300
Since you just have a DS2300 and not any VA7XX0 arrays or any other arrays, I can't see any reason for needing CommandView.
