compiling gcc-3.2.3 on 11.11 64-bit troubles

hello to all you gcc crackers

i,m trying to build gcc-3.2.3 on my 64-bit ( 11.11) server , using gmake and i'm getting this error "cpp: "cp/cp-tree.h", line 32: error 4062: "You should be using 'make bootstrap' -- see installation instructions"
gmake[1]: *** [cp/call.o] Error 1"

can anybody tell me how to use the bootstrap option and how will it help me ??
