Compression for SNAPlus

Does SNAPlus support compression/decompression for outgoing/incoming messages? If so, how can I set it on?

SNAplus2-RJE supports compression on outgoing and incoming files. But the use of it depends on the host.

Unfortunately I would need SNAPlus to compress transaction data and not simply for file transfer between HP-UX and Host. I think I will have to compress/decompress messages on the application side even if it sounds ackward that SNAplus cannot suppport compression as SNAServer on Microsoft NT does!!
