Computer Associates and xfer application

Hi everyone

Had a problem with an application that is no longer supported - xfer

The application is basically an ftp process that sends application patches to our servers
and performs installs via housekeeping

I have a load of error messages from the ftp logs

10/10/2002 15:48:02 4115 Unexpected signal: 15 (fatal)
10/10/2002 15:48:02 4115 Message 'Unexpected signal' for '' has been su
perseded
SFX: 0: Condition Code Unknown

At this point all the open ip sockets were fin_wait2 with other transfers failing

Has anyone had any experience of this application or know where I can get any reference materials.

We are in the middle of replacing it with another CA product
