Conf DNS in Windows and Unix

I have 3 wintel servers and 1 unix server. I would like they all resolv by name. DNS server is Windows. What must I do to my Unix server resolv by names?

Add entry in /etc/resolv.conf

nameserver IP.Of.WINTEL.DNS

Also make sure you have the right config under /etc/nsswitch.conf too.

if you want to resolve unix server, resolve by name you need to add an entry in windows DNS A record.

If you want to resolve name from unix you need to add nameserver and domain entry in /etc/resolve.conf file.

I Add entry in /etc/resolv.conf

nameserver IP.Of.WINTEL.DNS
