Config kernal for OLAR
We have a L3000 running 11i and I need to add 3 device drivers to the kernel. HP support said that I needs the following drivers:
OLAR_PSM
OLAR_PSM_IF
DEV_OLAR
How would I do that?
thanks
Norm Dignard
OLAR_PSM
OLAR_PSM_IF
DEV_OLAR

Re: Config kernal for OLAR
Hi,
I don't have 11i so I can't "see" what you actually have to do, but adding drivers is done under SAM -> Kernel Configuration -> Drivers.
Hope this helps,
Tom Geudens

Re: Config kernal for OLAR
Hi Norman,
Check this for a helpful information:
http://us-support2.external.hp.com/cki/bin/doc.pl/sid=b6b1b7cb06d19a3ec5/screen=ckiSearchResults
You may reconfigure the kernel through SAM (SAM-Kernel configuration - configurable parameters ). Or
add kernel drivers to /stand/system. Once that is complete run mk_kernel then schedule the new kernel to be moved into place with the kmupdate command. Once the system is rebooted OLAR functionality should work.
HTH,
Shiju
