						Hi Gurus,
I would like to configure fbackup to
backup on DLT7000 Lib. Basically I want to
automate the backup. like loading tape from a particular slot and start the fbackup.
Has any one tried this.
Thanks
Sreedhar

						Hi,
You can use the 'mc' command to manipulate the
tapes from wihin your library from slot to
drive and from drive to slot on completion.
The best way would be to wrap a script around
it to automate it.
Assigning points for answers to your questions
will ensure that you get far more and quicker
responses and with more information and
suggestions.

						Hi:
I think you will find that Knowledge Base document #A5248544 ("11.0: How to configure a DLT autoloader on V-class for tar and fbackup") is that which you seek.
Click "Maintenance and Support" (here) -> "Search Technical Knowledge Base" & choose "Search by DocID" and enter the document number above (A5248544). Make sure you are logged into the ITRC to enable your access privileges to the KB.
