configure syslog on HP-UX to send to logstash

Hello.

One of my coworkers has been tasked with getting syslog on our HP-UX 11.31 servers to send data to our logstash server, which is a CentOS 7 box.

It seems syslog on HP-UX 11.31 will only work on the standard network port 514 and not TCP port 5000, which is what we need.

We're thinking of using syslog-ng on HP-UX 11.31 as an alternative.

Has anyone successfully configured syslog on an HP-UX 11.31 server to send data to logstash?

If so, please provide details.

I dont see that HPUX 11.X is not listed in the supported OS list.
