Re: Configuring all unconfigured software filesets FAIL

Sergej,

Could you check /var/adm/sw/swagent.log if there are more clues or run check_paches command.

Re: Configuring all unconfigured software filesets FAIL

Sure!

My tail -100 /var/adm/sw/swagent.log :

======= 12/05/03 08:39:18 MET BEGIN configure AGENT SESSION (pid=300)

* Agent session started for user "root@claudia". (pid=300)

* Beginning Analysis Phase.
* Target: claudia:/

NOTE: The filesystems in the filesystem table will not be checked
against those currently mounted because the
"mount_all_filesystems" option is set to "false".
ERROR: The software selection "PHSS_24303.C-KRN,l=/,r=1.0" will be
excluded because it is corrupt. Correcting a corrupt fileset
requires that you reinstall it.
NOTE: The patch fileset "PHSS_24303.C-KRN,l=/,r=1.0" may only be
installed upon a previously installed base fileset. The
specification for this base fileset is

the target or selected from the source which matches this
specification, fileset "PHSS_24303.C-KRN,l=/,r=1.0" will be
excluded.

Re: Configuring all unconfigured software filesets FAIL

Looks like the error you posted was just pointing out that you have a corrupt fileset, and the corrupt fileset cannot be configured. Find out what fileset has the problem and remove then reinstall it.

swlist -l fileset -a state |grep -E 'corrupt|installed|transient'

Re: Configuring all unconfigured software filesets FAIL

I've only found this:

PHSS_24303.C-KRN corrupt

Is that mean that i have to swremove that patch and swinstall it again>?

Yes,

Download a fresh copy of the patch.

Re: Configuring all unconfigured software filesets FAIL

Yes, I would start by trying to swremove that patch (no reboot needed) then redownload from the ITRC and try to install the patch.

Re: Configuring all unconfigured software filesets FAIL

Sergej,

the strange thing is when you look at the patch list from the QPK1100

http://www5.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/aggregatePage.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.releaseIndexPage|patch.breadcrumb.releasePage{5012-7886}|&bundleId=QPK1100:B.11.00.62.4

the patch PHSS_24303 is not included ??????

Call HP and ask them to verify the bundle.

Hope this helps,
