Configuring Auto-Port- Aggregation (APA) on Virtual Server Evn. (VSE) server
I have several VMguests configured on a VMhost. The VM server has multiple LAN adapters and multiple vswitches configured on the VMhost. I have installed and configured APA on the host for the primary and failover LAN adapter. I now need to configure APA for the VM guests. In this case is APA installed on the VM host or the VM guest?

Re: Configuring Auto-Port- Aggregation (APA) on Virtual Server Evn. (VSE) server
you do not install APA in a VM Guest, it is all done on the VM Host.
You create the aggregate on the Host, ans when you assign a Vswitch to a NIC, you assign lan900 or lan901 instead of lan0 or lan1

Re: Configuring Auto-Port- Aggregation (APA) on Virtual Server Evn. (VSE) server
I second the opinion.
You DO NOT need to configure HA on the VMGuest. It is already there on the VMHost. I believe there is even a note in the admin guide saying NOT to do this.
Create your virtual switch using the aggregate lan90x. Present the HA Virtual Switch to the guests.
