Re: Configuring EMS resource monitors

Hi,

I had this trouble too. It is an EMS bug. A tech from HP came and installed a big bundle of patches (but we had other bgs too).
I can't tell you which patches you need, for now. I'll check tomorrow on my cluster.
Anyway, you can configure most monitors with :
/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

Alexandre.

PHSS_27230
PHSS_27886

Re: Configuring EMS resource monitors

I can't find PHSS_27886 noted in the previous post. Please verify.

I noticed that some log files indicated local SNMP , and so I enabled SNMP via all local interfaces, not just the OV server. Some improvement, but no overall change: I get lots of entries in "api.log" about a FIFO that can't be read. I verified all noted EMS processes are active.
I added some EMANATE patches. MC/SG is running 11.14 with recent (< 2 months) patches.
