Configuring EMS using SAM text interface

I try to configure EMS using the text interface of SAM. I try to configure kernel_resource monitors, but I cannot change all the fields. If I use the graphical version of SAM, I'm able to.

Does anybody know how this can be fixed ?

It would be more helpful to know which fields in particular, that you do not have access to.

There is a little trick to do this in ascii mode. Let me walk you through this. First make sure you're running hpterm.
# env|grep TERM
TERM=hpterm
# sam
==> Running ascii mode.
Goto "Resource Mgt"->"EMS", then ..
ACtion->AddMonitoringRequest. Use the tab key to get to the "Resources Classes" window. Use arrow key to scroll and highlight "system".
At this point hit F2 and then RETURN key (that is equivalent to double clicking in the graphics mode). Then use arraow key to move it to "kernel_resource" and same thing .. hit F2 and RETURN. And so on ... you get the idea ..I hope.

Hi there,

I was convinced that your solution should work, but alas, it didn't.

I cannot change the second field (Notify and parameter like <, >, etc).

I changed my default TERM, but no change there.

Any other option ?
