configuring SCSI jukebox

I have just completed legato networker installs
on our main server, ADIC tape device is claimed at instance number 2, H/W path is 10/16/4.6.0, driver is autox0, the device file is /dev/rac/c8t6d0. When i ran jbconfig command for tape install, it requested for pathname of the control port for the jukebox device, i listed the hardware path claimed by tape at 10/16/4.6.0. as a control port.Error message reads "unable to access device ADIC-1200c/ADIC-1200d on control port. My question is, could it be that the jukebox is looking for the scsi pass thru driver or the device file for the autochanger, the tape device is physically connected and kernel was reconfigured, legato networker daemons are
running. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
thanks

Re: configuring SCSI jukebox

You should use the device file name to
connect to the jukebox.

If device file has not been created, it
has to be created with mknod.

autox0 is the driver for optical jukeboxes.
Is that what you have?

Ioscan to make sure device is claimed.
