Once again I find a person that is progressing through the ranks, and once again I see that the people that come to congratulate are the ones that also have headgear. Consequently, I don???t know if it???s considered bad taste for a non-ranked member to reply or not, but I have taken the chance and done so for two others today and I won???t leave you out of it.

Knowing what I now know about the challenges of earning points on this forum, I am truly impressed by the accomplishments that you and the others here have made. My most sincere congrats to you and your peers on your accomplishments.

Perhaps some day I, too, will have some headgear, but it looks like I have a lot to learn before that happens. With the help that you and people like you provide, perhaps that day won???t be too far away if I pay attention???

Congratulations on your new hat. I was going to say something about the fact that you seem to be perpetually on the 'fast movers' list, but I see that it just seems to be lately. I always judge how busy I have been at work with how many points I end up with wednesday-wednesday. (The past couple of weeks have been slow for me...)

It's nice to see someone jump right into the middle of the forums community like it seems you have. Keep up the good work. I fully expect to see you zip past me here in a few weeks...

The Forums are for the users, by the users, and I think that every contributor likes to know whether or not hir contributions are appreciated and that for most contributors, appreciation, i.e. responses like yours, is more important than points or hats.

In the short time that I have been visiting the forum, I have noticed that this is a rather tight knitted group. It seems as if everybody here that has headgear knows everybody else. While that is a good thing to see, it can also be somewhat intimidating to a ???newbie??? when they see a post like this.

It???s quite possible to have thoughts runs through the mind like ???they don???t know me, maybe they don???t want me to get involved this??? or ???I don???t have a hat so I don???t belong in this thread???.

Of course, you notice that didn???t stop me :-)

I appreciate your kind words of welcome and all of the hospitality that this group has shown. I???m sorry that I didn???t start using the forums earlier. Maybe I would be in a better position than I???m in now if I would have???

If you haven't noticed by now, you have to be extra fast to get to answer the easy ones. This group in here is sharp and they seem to have an inside track to the newly posted questions that I havn't found yet.

A quote from an older TV show would seem to apply here:
