Thanks everyone - and especially Mark for starting the thread. This makes up for missing out on being in the top five new people on the sys admin forum by four points!

It's nice to know my post was considered the funniest to date - I had no idea it had made such an impression (although I remember Paula saying it had her ROTFLMFAO). I also didn't know it had been pulled - I checked it every day for a week expecting it to be pulled but it wasn't! The strict moderator must have been on holiday that week.

I hope you don't mind having had to wait a few hours to be thanked, but I thought I ought to reply in my dinner hour rather than my employer's time. I've enjoyed watching the congratulations coming in this morning, but I've only been smiling (there's a clue in there Sanjay!). I looked at Sanjay's personal profile in the hope that I could send a private email regarding the funniest post, but no email address. Sorry Sanjay!
