Connect Direct is returning error (exit code 8) while submitting the Process

Hi,

Currently we are using Connect Direct version 3.1.00 and Unix box with Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.8, which is working properly.

After upgrading the Connect Direct version from 3.1.00 to 3.8.00 and unix box with OS AIX Version 5.3., we are getting an error while using the Connect Direct. The following error is displayed below.

copy.cd MVS specific Parameter Validation

Re: Connect Direct is returning error (exit code 8) while submitting the Process

given that neither OS is HP, and you upgraded both AIX and the Sterling Software, I think I'd:

a) confirm that the AIX box is correctly patched at the new release, apply any relevant APAR fixes

b) confirm with Sterling that the ConnectDirect version installes runs on the AIX version you have.

c) open a support call with Sterling???
