Connection between MDP and modem

I have a 8 ports RS-232 MDP on my K server and I want to connect a modem but both, the modem and MDP port have the same type of connector (DB25 female).
What kind of cable should I use?

Re: Connection between MDP and modem

Hi
If you are using shielded cable connect pin 1 to the shield - but only at one end.
