connection to subversion through UNIX.

There is source control tool called subversion. Subversion is accessable through windows by Tortoise. I want to connect subversion through UNIX box. Also I want to get files from subversion in UNIX servers. Although I am using Putty for UNIX, but it will make no difference.

did you install svn on your HPUX server?
