Hello,
I'm searching for a free converter PDF to PCL on hp-ux 11 Or an other way to print PDF's on non HP laserprinters directly from a HP9000 system.

E,

I don't know much about hp-ux, but it looks like you could use Acrobat Reader to print-to-file, save in Postscript format, then send the file to the printer from the command line using the lpr command.

Here is a link with more info:

Re: convert pdf to pcl

Thanks Jay,

The problems is that I'm using acroread to print a pdf but that only works on HP Laser printers and not on a Xerox or Kyocera, that why I want to convert to pcl or something like that. Is there anybody who knows this problem ?

TIA

Re: convert pdf to pcl

I don't think you will find much *nix help in this forum. You might also post in HP-UX General. They will probably move the thread, but if you are lucky someone will answer it before it is moved:

You might also try Linux General:
