Re: copy a bootable LIF area of a cdrom to a jaz

Before expending a lot of time on this your system that is booting needs to be able to handle a jaz drive.

What kind of system are we talking about here? Release? Firmware level?

Re: copy a bootable LIF area of a cdrom to a jaz

The system supports booting from Jaz.
I'm trying doing that on a HP9000 C240 Workstation.

In fact i just need to understand with a little help how i can do to copy the lif area of a bootable cdrom to a jaz.
the cdrom reader: c0t4d0
the jaz : c1t2d0
PDC fw of C240: 6.3 (latest release).

i hope now i had explained clearly my needs.

Thanks

You have tried lifcp and it doesn't work? What is the error message?
