Copying HP-UX CD-ROMs...
Hi,
Just wonder if anyone has any tips on how to do this... I have a bunch of Original CD-ROMs - HPUX Installation media etc. which I want to make backups of. I was going to just use Roxio Easy CD Creator 6's Disc Copier and just do a straight disc to disc copy on my laptop...
But then I remembered the time I burned an 11.00 Support PLUS file to a CD-ROM, and every box I tried to mount it in had a kernel panic. It was then that I realised that I might do well to enlist a bit of help from you good people before I try burning any more CDs (although they might make good practical jokes?)...
So - best and most reliable way to copy HPUX CD-ROMs (withuot a HP9000 machine with a CD Writer) - discuss.
Cheers!

Re: Copying HP-UX CD-ROMs...
You need ISO-9600 or 9660 whatever the number is compliant software.
I've seen such a thing, but it was not Roxio. Nero might be able to do it. A Linux box might be able to do it.
Honestly, I had software contracts on multiple machines and ordered multiple copies of each and every Core OS release for my prior employer.
