copying "ufsrestore" files

I have some old tapes created on a Sun 2.5.1 system that are in ufsdump format. Does anybody know how/if I can use this data after (I suppose) using either "cpio" or "dd" to extract it from the tapes?
Insecurity is our friend. It keeps you dependent.

Try with
#mt -t /dev/rmt/omn fsr 1
#tar xvf
