Re: Could not telnet to N class system
You can ping from the N-Class machine (Assuming that you are working at console ) and check for the network connectivity.
Also check the network card status of the machine is UP or DOWN by using the command
# lanscan (No options required)
Hope this helps you to start with.

Madhu

SolutionON the console:
You will be asked for a password - press
You will get a "GSC>" prompt
GSC> SL
Choose error messages
choose no filters
Look at alert level and reporting entity type.
You can poke around here and find what is causing the attention light.
GSC> Q
This will quit
CO
This will get you back to console mode.
Also, This should reset the attention light, so it doesn't blink - as long as there is no further detected errors.

Re: Could not telnet to N class system
we just has similar issue here on an N box but couldnt get to the console at all. Byron is right on - accessing GSP should reset the attention light. We opened a problem with HP and they reviewed the GSP error logs and we need a firmware upgrade. We were also told the amber flashing light in upper left hand corner (near the fan) is a pulse for power that is normal. Good luck

Re: Could not telnet to N class system
Please have a look at the document. It will guide you adding a terminal to the server.
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/onlinedocs.py?mpn=B2355-90675&service=hpux&path=../B2355-90675/00/00/20&title=Configuring%20HP-UX%20For%20Peripherals
Hope this helps.
