Do I have the choice for my two node cluster to use NFS mount point instead of the vg or disk?
And how to do it?

Solution
Hi Jun,
If you are planning to use cluster locks, then it has to be a disk and a VG corresponding to it. You cannot use mount points (forget NFS) as locks.
The other choice you have is to use a quorum server. But that's more useful for multiple clusters with multi nodes.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try

Re: Could the lock space be an NFS share seen by all nodes?
Quorum servers may also be necessary in situations where all of your shared storage will be VxVM disk groups.
But absolutely no NFS mounts could be used as lock disks. Ooooohhhh makes me shudder even thinking about it.....
My 2 cents,
Jeff

Re: Could the lock space be an NFS share seen by all nodes?
No, you cannot. No NFS/Mount Points here. Only Real disk/VG goes in as a lock disk.
