couldn't connect directly to the ITRC
Good morning Laurent,
This morning i tried to connect to the ITRC directly with the URL: http://my2.itrc.hp.com/hb/1,,,00.html
at 08h55 EDT, I got an error '404 Object Not Found'.
However, through 'www.hp.com' I could find my way
to the ITRC.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: couldn't connect directly to the ITRC
Hi Chris:
This has happened to several of us (including me). Laurent has asked that *all* problems be reported at this link:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,1150,0x3eacee3e323bd5118fef0090279cd0f9,00.html
I've linked this entry into it for you.
Regards!

Re: couldn't connect directly to the ITRC
Hi,
In the meantime, you could try different host/domainnames for the ITRC. Sometimes hitting another server is all that it takes. Here are two I use...
itrc.hp.com
itresourcecenter.hp.com
Plugging both of these into nslookup gives different ip addresses so you may get lucky with one of them.

Re: couldn't connect directly to the ITRC
Hi all,
thanks for your messages.
due to the ITRC load balancing system, you may be routed to one of the different servers available. Whenever a server needs maintenance it will be taken out of the list of available servers, and you will be routed to one of the other servers available. In order to avoid the problem you experienced, I would strongly recommend that you enter - or bookmark - the generic URL which will take you straight to one of the available servers.

thanks again for your feedback. Thanks also to Jim for having reported this to one of the discussions I created, and to Bruce for the different ITRC aliases.
Best regards,
Laurent
