Can anyone advise what is the command to run to check for status of CPU eg active / deconfigure etc

I realised the command utility "mstm" is not showing.

Re: CPU Active/Deconfigure Status

Hi,

On mstm, did you select the cpu and ran "Device -> Current Device Status"??

Nevertheless, ioscan give you the state of the cpu from the hardware point of view:

#ioscan -fn|grep processor

Re: CPU Active/Deconfigure Status

Hi,

Depends a bit on what kind of system you have.

Check this doc.

How to check the number of active CPUs in my rp4440 system DocId: KBQA00000527

http://www5.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000077315041

Hope this helps,

Re: CPU Active/Deconfigure Status

Are you talking about icod?

Then:

icod_stat - display instant Capacity on Demand (iCOD) processor
status, usage information, and system information

Re: CPU Active/Deconfigure Status

Hi Robert-Ian,

Hitting the following errors "could not login
" while trying to access the document provided by the link from u.

Guys, thought there was a command to show existing CPUs in row format and having either "A" for active "D" deconfigured...etc

Thanks/cliff

Hi Cliff,

You can see if it is (they are) active on SAM:

Performance Monitors -> System Properties
