CPU allocation with gWLM
Configured gWLM on 4 vpars which are on same compartment as one "Npar". It has 20 CPUs assigned to whole compartment. Got requirement to create two new vpar's and use one cpu each but not reuqested to configure gWLM on these vpars.
Undeployed SRD and took out two cpu's from the pool and assigned to new vpars. Do I need to configure anything in SRD ? By the way, we are using FSS scheme for these 4 vpars.
thanks.

Re: CPU allocation with gWLM
You might want to form a new SRD across all the vpars, including the new ones, and place policies on your existing FSS workloads and fixed 1 CPU policies on the two new vpars. That would let you see them with their sibling vpars, include them in gwlm advanced reports, etc. but their CPU allocations would remain fixed.
I'm assuming you are using gwlm 2.5 or later to support SRD with mixed FSS and vpars (often called hiearchical or nested SRDs).
