Re: cpu enable
1) place order for extra CPU and OS licenses (and maybe extra support) with HP
2) Wait till you get a HP order number back from HP
3) Generate an audit snapshot from your system using "icapstatus -s"
4) Go to the iCAP Portal at:
http://www.hp.com/go/icap/portal
You will need to create a user ID if yiu don't already have one
5) Once logged in to the iCAP portal - select the option to generate a codeword. You will be prompted for the order number and then later as you follow the process through for the data from the audit snapshot.
6) At the end of the process you will get an iCAP codeword. Apply the iCAP codeword using "icapmodify -C
7) Check that you now have additional usage rights using icapstatus
8) Turn on your extra CPU(s) using "icapmodify -a N" where N is the number of additional CPUs to enable.
