Hi,

You've posted in the HPUX forums instead of Microsoft. You'd have more success at finding an answer there.

Does pc-cillin have a web site you can search? What virus have you found? Perhaps there is a removal tool at Symantec or McAfee's sites:
www.sarc.com
www.mcafee.com

Harry - You're TOO funny!

I just have to love people who like Windoze as much as I do! (and the penguin and devil are much better logos/mascots!)

Now to give some input to the question at hand...

I think it's Semantec that offers a trail license of their software free over the 'net. Try downloading a copy and see what it finds!

Good luck!

Ya gotta love Harry. I'd give him 10 points for that answer.

Seriously along with Symantec, I think that McAfee also offers trials. Best go to download.com and search for Antivrus software.

Re: cpu is at 100%

Andre---pop3trap.exe is PC-cillin email virus scanner, it is supposed to be running on your Windoze box and is not a virus. msmsgs.exe is Windoze messenging service, and is supposed to be running if and only if you are utilizing their incorperated outlook express email program. I suggest you get Eudora (free download from any good download site...www.tucows.com maybe...and utilize that instead.
Harry I do not think was being sarcastic...any unix based o/s just does not have the viral problems...only four or five that I know of.
Hope this will help you out.
