CPU overloaded with snmp
Hello,
I would like to know how to know, with SNMP request, that a CPU on a HP-UNIX server is overloaded ?
I thought that a workarround is to compute the percent of IDL CPU.
I thought that I can use computerSystemIdleCPU(from HP-UNIX)to know the IDL percent, but how to compute this percent ?
Is it the right formula to compute the percent of IDL CPU :
computerSystemIdleCPU / ( computerSystemUserCPU + computerSystemSysCPU + computerSystemIdleCPU + computerSystemNiceCPU )
Thanks,

Re: CPU overloaded with snmp
Hi
i hope that i have understand your que. , i dont know on any overloaded of snmp request that the hp-ux is using .
most of the snmp request is being made with Openview software or other network software .
i remember that there is a problem with mib2agt that is taking a lot of cpu ' but this can be fix by patch : PHSS_27858 for 11.X
if i didnt understand your que. please add a command .
thanks
