Re: cpu
If you have OnlineDiag installed try
# "selclass qualifier cpu;info;wait;il"|cstm
Otherwise you can try
# ioscan -fnCprocessor
or
$ machinfo
CPU info:
2 Intel(R) Itanium 2 9000 series processors (1.59 GHz, 18 MB)
532 MT/s bus, CPU version C2
4 logical processors (2 per socket)

CPU info:
1 Intel(R) Itanium 2 9000 series processor (1.59 GHz, 18 MB)
532 MT/s bus, CPU version C2
2 logical processors (2 per socket)
Memory: 4065 MB (3.97 GB)
...
This is 11.31.
On other releases it looks different.
PA-8800 and PA-8900 are always dual-core, for Integrity the CPU family 9000 and 9100 are always (almost always) dual-core.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: cpu
> i do not have machinfo in my servers
Then you don't ave an Itanium server. Rather, you have a PA-RISC one.
See:
# uname -m

Re: cpu
#model
In the rare case you have a very entry level of a rp34x0 you could have a dual core CPU with a disabled second core.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: cpu
Post the model of your server;
# model
James,
If i'm not mistaken, both the PA-8800 and the PA-8900 processors are dual core.
$ machinfo
CPU info:
1 PA-RISC 8800 processor (800 MHz, 64 MB)
CPU version 5
2 logical processors (2 per socket)
$ model
9000/800/rp3410
Best regards,
Robert-Jan
